external storage in Minecraft

I played earlier on 1.14.60 did my addons on the server, etc. wanted to switch to a new version of Minecraft for android. I downloaded 1.16.100, I go in everything is fine, but later I put the storage on the external one and the game just crashed, I just log in again without buttons. But all mods, maps, shaders are stored on the external. I have to play further at 1.14.60 how can this be fixed ???
