The signs no longer hold water flows

The signs no longer hold water flows or lava in previous versions before we managed to do a lift by placing posters and a bucket of water on top and could hold water. But now can not because when a sign is placed and water, the poster is clear and it's really annoying .. please if we can fix that would help much.
