Nether portals on server and realms connecting to pre-made portals

Me and my friends are having trouble with nether portals.

When we make a nether portal, it loads into the nether, that is fine. 

But, when a new nether portal is made, it connects to the first one. Making it impossible to make nether transportation systems.
