I am just infinitely falling to the point where I am at 17000 y level and moving

I am just infinitely falling to the point where I am at 17000 y level and moving in directions. I am not sure if it is just lag or the new snapshot. I am still. just falling but I can go into my inventory and when I look with f3 it just shows me standing. I can drop items but not use items
