Extreme chunk flickering when massive amounts of liquid is spreading

When massive amounts of liquid pores downward (In my case, I has building gigantic walls made from water and lava) it causes the chunks to flicker so intensely, it's very annoying. Here, you can see a old screenshot, this problem existed since as early as I believe 0.10.0
