Change Placed Redstone

My issue isn't so much a bug as it is a request. I'm not exactly happy with the texture of a single tile of placed redstone. It needs to be a dot, not a cross. The cross is supposed to be used only if that specific tile is actually connected on all 4 sides. People often use it as blood on horror maps, and a cross doesn't exactly look good for that purpose.
