Boats will slowly fly and sink

Boats in Minecraft 1.16.201 will rise into the sky, slowly by pixels. This has been noticed in all of my worlds. They will also sink into the water. Again, by pixel. They will continue going up until world block limit, 256. No barriers are visible or being used.
