Software and profile issues

My daughter has been playing minecraft on the nintendo switch for some time now and recently for the past 2-3 weeks, when she use her profile to log into minecraft, it gives her an error saying "software closed because an error occurred."  We have tried a number of things from checking for corrupt data and none was found and did a redownload. Did a restart by holding the power button down. We also try holding the power button down for 20 seconds.  She is able to play other games using her profile just not minecraft.  She has to use my profile in order to get into minecraft. I am running out of ideas to get her profile to work in playing minecraft. Everything is updated.  We have the latest updated version of minecraft.  It's ver. 1.16.201
