My minecraft wont update to the new version 1.16.201.

My Minecraft wont update to the new version 1.16.201. It is currently on version 1.16.100. I cant play with any of my friends on a world. If I try to join them or they try to join me, all it says is Outdated client. I cant join realms either. But I can join online servers such as Hive. But anything private with my friends wont work. Please help me fix this. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
