I have been stuck on the red "Mojang studios” screen for over an hour and I have tried multiple times to restart the game

Hello, for the part couple of days I have been trying to load up minecraft on my PS4. Straight away it will go onto the red Mojang Studios screen yet no loading bar appears. I thought I just had to restart the game or check for updates or even just leave it to load eventually but each time nothing worked. I left the screen on for hours, in hope that when I returned to it, it would have loaded, but once again it hadn't. I'm running the latest update of the game and running the latest update on my system and I have been checking frequently.
