1 block tall animals Suffocate in carpet

1 block tall animals are suffocating in carpet. I didn't break it it was just a bug in the latest MCPE update

What I thought would happen is that my dogs would be in my dog house (which is floored with carpet) would be there

What actually happened was that I found no dogs the floor was carpeted with XP and I saw the last dog suffocate.

How to recreate

Place a 9×9 area with carpet then push an a 1 block tall or less mob on the carpet and you'll see it Suffocate in the carpet.
