Cant update cave system

I have tried to follow all of the steps to update it for my Windows 10 computer, but when I click "Get updates" it says there aren't any more things to update. When I go back into Minecraft it still says that it needs to be updated. I even went on a world in creative to see if the copper ingots or whatever they are are there and they aren't. Please answer I am very anxious to play! (PS I don't know what "Affects Version/s" really means so.....)
