Stuck on "Loading resources" screen when trying to enter a realm, world, or server.

Whenever I try to get into a world, realm, or server, I am always stuck on a screen that says "Loading Resources" for about 5-10 minutes. I play on Nintendo Switch and I'm not sure if its just something wrong with my Nintendo Switch or just that I have too much storage in my copy of Minecraft. But either way, please fix this, I always die in my friends' survival world when I am stuck on this screen because I can still take damage even if the game is still loading.
