Chunks Deleted

On my survival world a brunch of chunks just deleted and wont come back and they are loaded and all over there a just chunks missing and half chunks missing.  It is ruining my survival world that I worked very hard on;  Out of fear, when this bug gets fixed, will my world get fixed or will it just not happen again?
