Nether rendering issue + Other things

So lets start in the beginning where the problems start occurring, I get a message in the Minecraft chat saying a player left the game ,It never said he joined in the game in the first place,  I decide to turn on the Nintendo Switch's Airplane Mode feature. After I do that  proceed to open a chest I see a loading bar on the screen I find this weird because this happened to me. I eventually go to the nether ,this also takes a long time to load. While I'm in the nether weird things keep occurring like me seeing through blocks and blocks appearing to be invisible when I place them. I head to my portal when suddenly parts of Blocks aren't rendering like the sides and on some the tops aren't rendering. I go through the portal and nothing happens I try again then I get stuck in a loop where I can't move and the portal constantly trying to bring me back to the overworld but keeps failing.
