Minecraft not connecting to the controller?

I wanted to connect a wireless controller (mg550) to the game, but it didn't want to be recognized for any action. But I waited a little and tried to connect it again and it somehow miraculously connected!  I played enough, tried quitting the game and unplugging the controller to see if the controller would reconnect and everything was fine. But as soon as I close the game and disconnect the controller for an hour, the next time the game is connected, the game does not recognize it again. What should I do?
