Possible Elytra Glitch

When I was flying with an elytra to get to one of our bases, it was perfectly fine, until I took it off and started walking around the base.  I kept going through blocks that were a block above ground and it was pretty strange.  I could go through one block spaces as well.  I personally think it is the elytra, but I am not sure.
