Minecraft is stuck on the red screen.

I click on Minecraft, it shows the Mojang word, then gets stuck on the red screen. I've lefrt it for long periods of time to see if it'll load, but it's stuck on the red screen. I've tried resetting the game, and I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I've also tried resetting and shutting down my computer. Nothing works.
