When Boats travel through plants such as the warped fungus, wither roses part of the plant appears invisible

When a boat travels through a plant part of it is invisible or sometimes completely missing. I tried with plants such as crimson roots, warped roots, dandelions and crimson fungus. This most likely happens with other plants too.
