Minecraft black screen

After the update, I was told I needed to update my graphics drivers for some textures to work. As soon as I did, every time I boot up Minecraft, it brings me to the red Mojang logo then flickers to black right afterwards. Uninstalling then reinstalling my graphics drivers (And Minecraft) did not work, and neither did a virus scan.
