Trade glitch?

Bought ink sacks from a wandering trader.. never closed the game went to use them for stained glass no pop-up for the recipe manually input recipe nothing. Tries turning them into dye nope. Goes and ^retrieves Ink sacks from a squid, they don't stack with the bought ones... but
