Excessive Frame Drops - Windows 10

Hi there,

Ever since the latest release of which includes the RTX features, my game has been dropping frames like crazy.

Currently I am unable to play the game in windowed mode, else the frames drop so much that the gameplay becomes choppy.

I can only play in fullscreen mode, and yet, frames constantly drop, even after being in the same area for more than an hour.

My System:

Intel Core i5 8600K

16GB DDR4 2400

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5

Playing at 1080p, all setting at high.

Below I have attached screenshots. FPS is displayed at the bottom right of the screenshots.

Initial frame rate capped at my refresh rate (75fps):

After opening a chest, 45fps (happens every time that I open a chest):

Lowest frame rate, 24fps:

It doesn't get much better, even when there is hardly anything on screen, 36fps:

It has made the game unplayable. I constantly have to exit the game and then log in again.
