Bug when starting session

Hi I want to report a bug that's been happening to me. It just so happens that I can't log in to minecraft, every time I log in it stays for a long time and then just skips the message that there was an error logging in. And I can't launch the Xbox console companion app either because it just stays charging and never opens.
