No longer able to connect to self hosted bedrock server over the internet

After updating to the latest server version of .200 and client version of .200, I am no longer able to remotely connect when away from my server.  It was working fine and dandy before the most recent update.  I have made sure server.properties file was properly set and it is.  Whitelisting is fine and permissions.json is fine too.

When connected locally, it works.
