Cannot click anything on Main Menu screen

Whenever I launch Minecraft for my Nintendo Switch, I cannot click anything, by that I mean, if I try to click any button that leads me to a GUI, the GUI just simply doesn't appear and I'm stuck on the Main Menu screen until I close the game, and when I close the game, I get a screen that says "The Software closed because an error occurred". If this could be fixed then that would be very nice, because this bug basically makes it so I cannot play the game at all.

Edit: after about 10 minutes, the game responds and I can play, but this bug made me think that my Nintendo Switch had a problem.
