Not displaying properly past mojang screen. Home buttons not rendering, world rendering unplayably.

When loading minecraft, it loads normally, but then will not display the home screen. The buttons are still there, just not visible. I can click around and load into a realm randomly, but then everything renders so poorly that I can't even understand what I'm looking at. Note the first image is the home screen, not in-game. The second image is in-game.
