After installing minecraft and opening it I can't see main menu or anything.

After installing minecraft and opening it I can't see main menu or anything. Just the background image of Nether. I tried to reinstall it and restart my computer but it keeps doing it againg. On my sister's computer it's completlelly working. I purchased it and now it's not working? What is going on?!
