Menu buttons won't load after 1.16.200

Loading up the game and no menu buttons are visible, it's just the spinning background of the Nether. You can still hear the buttons if you click in the right spot and can even join games if you manage to navigate. Joining worlds results in a glitchy world with multi-colored polygons everywhere.
