Cannot connect to multiplayer worlds

Since the latest update  myself and 2 kids have not been able to connect to each others worlds. We have played together for roughly a year and suddenly we cannot connect.  Have tried a variety of troubleshooting tricks.  Might get in for a minute then we are disconnected.
