Homescreen glitching out

I updated my mincraft and encountered this bug, the loading screen after the mojang display had these lines of white and gray and kept flashing to the point where I felt sick, I'm concerned because it could cause a seizure from the looks of it, it was the same for the homescreen but replace the gray and white with the nether colours, the only time my screen went normal was when I pressed a key or two or hovered my mouse above the exit button.
