custom armor from addons has broken textures on mcpe

when custom armor from addons is put on in mcpe, the texture is broken unless the texture is a filter from the app itself. i cannot include a screenshot of it because i am sending this on a computer. i hope this bug is fixed soon.

edit: sorry i haven't been responding, Iv'e been busy with other stuff.

steps to reproduce:

1. install any addon that adds a new armor into mcpe
2. equip the armor
3. the texture is purple and black

expected results: the armor texture should work properly

observed results: it's broken
