Mob spawners are destroyed but no experience.

Whenever I destroy a mob spawner in a dungeon, most of the time, I gain no experience.

Steps to re-create:
1) Find a dungeon in survival mode.
2) Destroy the spawner.
3) No XP earned!

NOTE*
This happens most of the time on me.
