After I join Beta on play store and open Minecraft it shows same version

After I join beta and open Minecraft, it shows the same version. It is not updated to beta.

After I leave and rejoin the beta, then also it shows the previous screen and that version.

Mojang Please fix this issue. I really want to play the nether update
