The add friends button

The area where you invite friends to the game is not there, and if a friend adds me I used to get a notification of it that pops up, now I don't get them, they add me I don't see where I have a notification of who added be because I don't see a notification anywhere, I go to my minecraft worlds to the friends list and even if a friend is online playing minecraft it doesn't say that they are it supposed to say if there online or not, and if they add me I supposed to see a pop up notification of it, they add me forgot i don't see anything that they did. And when inviting friends one time the world then froze, then restarted, sometimes with a diffrent location, than the spawn location and another friend joined mysteriously the world glitches I exit the world and come back its gone. The world is not supposed to glitch. I exit the world and come back it is not supposed to be gone it supposed to be there.
