Render Distance Dropping

Render distance is defaulting to the lowest level (8 chunks). It can be restored by going into video settings and moving the slider away from and back to the desired render distance (40 chunks), but this will have to be done every time the player leaves and comes back to the world.

Issue also occurred once after sleeping in a bed; I have yet to duplicate that issue.

This issue occurs in both survival and creative. My computer is an ASUS ZenBook Q536FDX (i7-8565U, 1050 max-Q discrete graphics, 16gb ram)
