Game will not load

Game will not load. We see the opening Minecraft screen, saying just Minecraft with the white screen and the loading bars. It never opens, we can't play it. I tried all the different recommendations.

 

• Settings for Xbox Live connections and clubs set to allow
• Restarted console
• System and game are up to date

My son is pretty upset!! What's going on? How do we fix it?
