Cannot Connect to Realms after Recent Update

Despite being connected to the internet and being able to use the internet on my switch with other games and apps, I cannot connect to Realms and I have not been able to since the v1.16.101 update.

 

The error message reads, "We could not connect to Realms right now. We will try again soon." This message has been consistent. I am connected to my Switch account and my Microsoft account, and my skin is loading in after some delay. I have restarted both the game and my switch many times throughout the day since the v1.16.101 update to monitor for changes, but the problem has remained consistent.
