I have been unable to join multiplayer games since the 1st of December

I have been playing multiplayer for the past few weeks and on the 1st, my game stopped letting me join multiplayer games. I am able to go to a world on my own but no one can join and i can't join any multiplayer games. I have checked my settings on Xbox and all of them are on the right setting to allow me to join a multiplayer game. I have also uninstalled the game and restarted it several times but as soon as I click the world I want try on join, it stays on the connecting to multiplayer game screen. I have tried many different ways to get ignored but nothing has helped.
