Invisible mobs

Since the recent updates Mobs act strangely. Often, their sprites will remain drawn in a specific location, while the actual mob moves invisibly. In this way I have been attacked by invisible hostile mobs on too many occasions. This applies to passive mobs, aggressive mobs and minecarts as far as ive seen so far. Ive seen it in local single player files as well as on Realms. Very frustrating.
