The crafting button only opens the inventory...

When I Press Y (inventory) or X (crafting), I always just get the inventory screen. I cannot craft anything. I checked the button mapping and found nothing wrong. I performed an uninstall/reinstall, but to no avail. Am I doing something wrong?
