PC player 'unable to connect' message when trying to connect to iPhone (vice-versa)

iPhone is on 1.16.101 hotfix while PC is on 1.16.100. When trying to connect, either way (iphone to pc or pc to iphone sever) same "Unable to Connect" message appears. Tried restarting game, computer, and iPhone but still no luck.
