Cannot join other people's worlds on switch

Hello there is this glitch on Nintendo Switch where I cannot join other people's worlds AT ALL except my PS4 friend GalaxyCris1. Others can join my world perfectly fine but I cannot join other people worlds, I can even join servers like Hive and I can join any realms but I cannot join other people's worlds at all and this has been happening since I got minecraft on switch which was June 6. Please fix. (cannot post screenshot of problem because no one else is online right now besides GalaxyCris1)
