Punching the air doesn't move the player's hand on mobile devices

Unlike Windows 10 - PC when punching the air the player's hand moves but on mobile it doesn't.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open Minecraft on your mobile device. 
2. Punch the air.
3. Nothing happens except it makes a sound. 

Observed Results:
When punching the air on mobile devices the player's hand doesn't move but a punching sound plays. 

Expected Results:
It should do a punching animation just like in Windows 10 - PC.

Original Description:
The bug is not too serious but the animation when player try to touch the screen while facing the air block can't make a punching animation even in all perspectives. This only happen on mobile devices.
