Animals Spawning in Creative Flat World (Has never done that before)

I was in a flat creative world and I went to the nether. I got lost and changer to survival so I could kill myself and respawn. Once I changed back to creative animals started spawning all over my town that I have been building since 0.9.0 and my inventory is empty.
