Fail to recognise cellular data

Hello, 

Minecraft PE fails to recognise "use cellular data" toggle in profile menu post the new update. The toggle was already set to on, yet received warning saying "you need to connect to WiFi to play with your friends". I have not been able to connect to any server or realms that I am a part of. Requesting your urgent attention in the matter.
