Stuck in generating world screen

Every time I try to log into my worlds since 1.16.100, it is stuck in the loading screen as "generating world,"  and never loads up even if I wait for quite a few minutes. It is specifically on  my own worlds, for I can log onto LAN games and servers just fine.

 

A few things I tried:

• Shutting down my Ipad 
• Deleting a LOT of my worlds(thought it might be a storage problem)
• reloading minecraft

Steps to reproduce:

Open up minecraft,  and try to open a world

This started only after the 1.16.100 update
