Pets in old world not responding

I made this world just before the release of the 'Village and Pillage update' [1.11.0]. I played In it for a couple of months and saved it as a file to play later. This year just after the 'Nether update' I found out that all of my tamed cats and dogs were not standing up when trying to interact with them. The cats still stand up when I attack them and are capable of breeding but they do not follow or teleport to me when I am away. I tamed other stray cats and wolves that spawned naturally and they work perfectly fine.

Also all of the cats and dogs that I have are already tamed and have the collar texture.
