"Must be connected to WiFi to play with friends"

Each time I try to join a Realm or server an error message pops up that says "You must be connected to WiFi to play with friends. I haven't had a problem with it until the latest update. I tried deleting Minecraft and redownloading It. It may be because of my cellular data but I don't know. I just hope I can get it fixed before the realm subscription runs out.
