Villagers disappearing

I play on both versions of minecraft but I lose villagers only on Bedrock. I went on a large mining trip and when I came back my higher level villagers were gone. Almost half the village. This has been happening for a bit now but since I lost some high level villagers I hope it won't happen again. I knew they didn't die because then the rest of the town would also be gone because of the village not having a golem since I made it myself. I wish you look into this and also check on why they float or go to different places when they sleep. Thanks.
