Lose animals and items after game crash

On my PS4 the game lags a lot, but this is not the worst issue.

Besides the fact that monsters are sometimes invisible, especially the drowneds, I had, and I’m still having, the real problem that the game often crashes. After the crash, I return in my world and the horse or the donkey I was riding simply disappear (sometimes it happens with boats too). I don’t care about the animal but I care about its harness, if it’s the horse, or the things I put in the donkey’s chest. 
I'm sick of losing all my diamond and gold horse harnesses and the precious items I keep in the donkey box when I explore the world, so please, do something about it.
